Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal data is collected when you buy Stock Trading Isn't for Everyone on this site, why, and what you can do about it. It is given under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010. A Bahasa Melayu version follows below.
Who is responsible
The book is written by Huzaifah Za'ba and sold by Duoz Technology Sdn Bhd, Shah Alam, Selangor, which is responsible for your data. Contact: [email protected].
What is collected
- At checkout (by Stripe): your name, email address, phone number, country and payment details. Card and bank details are handled by Stripe and are never seen or stored by us.
- For the email list (in Kit): your first name, email address and a tag showing you bought the book.
- When you browse (Google Analytics): pages you view, how you arrived (for example a search or a link), your approximate location, device and browser, and whether you started checkout or completed a purchase. This uses first-party cookies. It does not include your name, email or payment details, and no advertising features are switched on. You can block it with any ad or tracker blocker, or with Google's opt-out add-on. The hosting provider also keeps standard technical logs.
Why
- To take your payment, send your receipt and give you the download.
- To send you the Bahasa Melayu edition when it's ready, and occasional emails about the book. You can unsubscribe from any email in one click.
- To answer you if you contact us, and to keep the accounting records the law requires.
- To understand, in aggregate, how people find the book and where they drop off, so the page and the book can be improved.
Your data is not sold or shared for anyone else's marketing. There are no signals, tips or promotions from third parties.
Who processes it for us
- Stripe: payments and receipts.
- Kit (kit.com): the email list.
- Cloudflare: website hosting and the download check.
- Google (Google Analytics and Search Console): visit statistics.
These providers may store data outside Malaysia, under their own security and privacy commitments.
How long it's kept
Purchase records are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require. You stay on the email list until you unsubscribe or ask to be removed. Analytics data is kept for 14 months, then deleted by Google automatically.
Your choices
You can ask to see or correct the data held about you, or to be removed from the email list, by emailing [email protected]. Giving your name and email at checkout is needed to deliver the book; without it the purchase can't be completed.

Semasa anda melayari laman ini, Google Analytics merekod halaman yang dilihat, cara anda sampai ke sini, lokasi anggaran, peranti dan pelayar, serta sama ada anda memulakan atau menyelesaikan pembelian, menggunakan kuki pihak pertama. Ia tidak termasuk nama, e-mel atau butiran pembayaran anda, dan tiada ciri pengiklanan diaktifkan. Anda boleh menyekatnya dengan penyekat iklan atau alat tambah opt-out Google.
Tujuan: memproses bayaran, menghantar resit dan muat turun; menghantar edisi Bahasa Melayu apabila siap dan e-mel sekali-sekala tentang buku ini (boleh berhenti langgan dengan satu klik); menjawab pertanyaan anda dan menyimpan rekod perakaunan yang diwajibkan undang-undang; memahami secara agregat bagaimana orang menemui buku ini supaya laman dan buku boleh diperbaiki. Data anda tidak dijual atau dikongsi untuk pemasaran pihak lain.
Pemproses: Stripe (pembayaran), Kit (senarai e-mel), Cloudflare (hos laman), Google (statistik lawatan). Data mungkin disimpan di luar Malaysia.
Tempoh simpanan: rekod pembelian disimpan selama yang dikehendaki oleh peraturan perakaunan dan cukai; anda kekal dalam senarai e-mel sehingga anda berhenti langgan; data analitik dipadam secara automatik selepas 14 bulan.
Hak anda: anda boleh meminta untuk melihat atau membetulkan data anda, atau dikeluarkan daripada senarai e-mel, dengan menghubungi [email protected]. Nama dan e-mel diperlukan untuk menghantar buku; tanpanya pembelian tidak dapat diselesaikan.
Jika terdapat percanggahan antara versi Bahasa Inggeris dan Bahasa Melayu, versi Bahasa Inggeris terpakai.
